Aim: Help MekAhStep Make a Difference in Ghana: Inspiring Future leaders and creatives through cultural exchange and the arts.

Help MekAhStep Make a Difference in Ghana: Building Futures, Building a Library

    Hello Friends, Family, and Supporters,

We are reaching out to you today with an exciting and impactful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people in Ghana. MekAhStep,is organizing a transformative trip to Ghana in January. Our mission is to empower the next generation through education, culture, and creativity. We are calling on you to help us make this vision a reality.

    What We’ve Achieved So Far

MekAhStep has been dedicated to creating meaningful change in communities around the world. We’ve had the privilege of running voluntary creative arts programs in five different countries London, Kenya, St. Lucia, Jamaica, and The Gambia. To date, we’ve taken 35 volunteers on these trips, and our programs have reached and impacted over 2,000 students. These initiatives have provided young people with the opportunity to explore their creative potential, develop essential life skills, and gain access to unique learning experiences. Through MekAhStep, we’ve seen firsthand how art and education can transform lives and open doors to new possibilities.

Our Goals for the Ghana Trip

During our upcoming trip, we will be running two one-week programs at two schools and 1 taster day in Ghana.

The schools we were will be visiting are:

    1.Sterling Heights Academy, Mampong

    2. Gomoa Ojobi D/O Basic School, Central Region1757430530_1001743319.jpg

    3. Northgate School, Winneba, Central Region

We have designed to engage students in creative learning, enhance their skills, and encourage them to take pride in their heritage. One of our key projects will be to contribute to small library at one of the schools, offering students the chance to access essential learning materials and cultivate a love for reading. A well-stocked library can transform a student’s academic journey, and we believe this small but impactful addition will have a lasting effect.

    How You Can Help:

To make all of this happen, we need your support! Our goal is to raise £6000, which will cover:

    – Materials & Supplies for the educational programs

    – Travel Expenses to and from the work site

    – Shipping Costs for books, materials, and resources to Ghana

    – Project Expenses,  Training Teachers and logistical costs.

    – Marketing to ensure the success and reach of the program

There is no donation too small to make a big impact.

    Why Your Support Matters

By contributing to our campaign, you are helping us provide a space for young people to learn, grow, and thrive. You’re helping us share and create life enriching moments, through our hearts to serve using the arts.
