Ghana’s cocoa regulator, COCOBOD, has announced that Licensed Buying Companies will, from October 1, 2021, switch to the use of electronic weighing scales. Chief Executive, Joseph Boahen Aidoo, told the media that over 44,000 weighing scales have already been procured and distributed to the LBCs. Former President John Mahama has expressed his disappointment with the Electoral Commission (EC)’s refusal to receive the post-2020 electoral reform proposals submitted by the National Democratic Congress (NDC). Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford may not play until the end of October after deciding to have surgery on a shoulder injury.
